Adcote School UK
Founded in 1907, Adcote School is a leading private boarding school in the UK. The school has been voted the ISA's Academic Excellence and Innovation Secondary School of the Year, ISA's Middle School of the Year, and has been recognised as 2020 Thames Education School of Strategy and Innovation.
Over 70% of Adcote UK's students achieve A* as well as A grades in STEM-related subjects each year, with nearly half of them gaining interviews at Oxbridge. In addition to their academic achievements, students have also achieved proud results in sports, performing arts and more: the school's equestrian team was selected to take part in the Queen's 90th birthday celebrations, and the Drama and Choir have been invited to participate in numerous international competitions and performances and won awards.

Adcote School Shanghai, invested by Ray Education Group, is the first overseas branch of Adcote School UK. Located at the foot of Sheshan Mountain in Songjiang, Shanghai, the school has a pleasant environment and a beautiful campus, with first-class facilities such as a library, multi-functional canteen, gymnasium, high-tech laboratories and so on .
The school integrates the advantages of both Chinese and Western education, as well as the implementation of localized curriculum of A-level&IGCSE. Seeking kindness through virtue, seeking truth through science and seeking beauty through excellence, our school cultivates lifelong learners with the qualities of cultural inheritance, innovation, independence, global competence and leadership, to be pioneers with valor and innovation, to be thinkers with independent personality, and leaders of world trends.
The school curriculum consists of the Academic Core Curriculum, the Quality Enhancement Curriculum (QEC), the Practical Science Curriculum (PSC) and the School-Based Student Development Curriculum (SDC). The Academic Core Curriculum (IGCSE, A Level) aims to develop a solid foundation in academic subjects; the Quality Enhancement Curriculum (including Language, Music & Art, Academic Enhancement, and Physical Education) aims to cultivate personal qualities and personality development; the Practical Science Curriculum aims to cultivate students' scientific literacy and practical ability; and the School-Based Student Development Curriculum focuses on the cultivation of critical thinking skills, logical thinking skills, teamwork skills, and leadership development of students.
The school adopts the well-established academy system of the British high school, opening four houses, each house consists of students of different grades, and new students will join different houses after enrolment. Each house elects a leader to organise activities such as art, sport and debating, and regularly organises house meetings and events to enhance teamwork and cross-grade communication. In addition, the school's rich and colourful student clubs will also provide a broad space for students' growth and development.

4. Honours and Awards
Since its founding, our school has achieved amazing results in further education, successfully sending two classes of graduates to the world's top 100 schools, and cultivating a total of 12 Oxbridge students.
